S&OP to Integrated Business Planning Summit 2025

We were proud to participate in the S&OP to Integrated Business Planning Summit 2025 in Barcelona, organised by Keynotion. Dale Edwards co-chaired and delivered a keynote, sharing his expertise alongside Jessica Waters as they engaged with leaders shaping integrated planning’s future.
Dale’s keynote, “The IBP promise, delivered: using modern technology to align strategy, operations, and finance,” exposed the “Four Villains” that challenge IBP’s success:
• The Great Data Chase: manual number hunting
• The Tower of Babel: spreadsheet conflicts
• The Consensus Marathon: gut-feel decisions from exhaustion
• The Disconnected Steps: gaps between plan and P&L
He demonstrated how modern EPM platforms overcome these issues to enable seamless alignment across functions.
At Bios Management, we apply these principles daily. We look forward to refining these approaches further to help finance leaders achieve accurate forecasts, better collaboration, and stronger alignment with operational and strategic goals.
Thanks to Keynotion for an insightful summit.
Until next time!
Dale co-chaired the summit and delivered the keynote “The IBP Promise, Delivered ” where he spoke about why IBP should not be a burden and highlighted the familiar Four Villains many organisations face: chasing data, version chaos, disconnect between strategy and finance, and the challenge of bringing everything together.
It was a great opportunity to share experiences, learn from industry peers, and reflect on how teams everywhere are working to make planning more connected and collaborative. Thank you to Keynotion for hosting an excellent event and bringing together such a thoughtful community.
